Therapy for Depression
Everyone feels sad or blue from time to time, but usually these feelings subside relatively quickly. However, if these feelings last for two weeks or more you may be struggling with depression. Some people think if they’re still going to work or school and not staying in bed all day, then they’re not depressed. While depression may look that way in more severe cases, it’s important to know that there are different types of depression, all of which deserve treatment.

If you’re feeling sad more days than not, losing interest in the activities you once enjoyed, having difficulty concentrating, or experiencing changes in your sleep, you may be struggling with mild to moderate depression. If your depressive symptoms or low mood has lasted a long time (more than two years) you may be experiencing a persistent depressive disorder. Our therapists are experts in helping you understand your symptoms and in treating them as quickly and effectively as possible.

Regardless of the type or severity of your depression, you deserve help and healing. Depression can rob you of life experiences and we’re ready to help you.
